How to install Renault CAN CLiP v163 software

Here is a the new Renault CAN CLIP V163 ISO file to download and CLIP v163 installation tutorial offered by a forum member @toto. Put it here for the educational purpose.

BEFORE you start your Renault CLIP installation, please do the following steps:

  1. Uninstall ANY previous "OLD" Version from V116 and BACK Renault CAN-CLiP if you have!
(IF ALL READY you have ANY Version from V117 --> & UP, just you can make an Update
with this LATEST Release...)
NOTE: IF you making an update and you got the message about "NOT CLiP Platform"
just re-apply the "Crack! Reanult CAN-Clip.reg" and then move on.
CLiP it will tell you "1st Installation", but DO NOT worry!
Just move on as usual...

  1. IF you making your 1st Installation: Run the "Crack! Reanult CAN-Clip.reg" 1ST OF ALL!

After these steps done, install now this NEW Renault CAN-CLiP Version.
NOTE: Manage about the Language that you want to use, to have ALL READY
configured your Regional & Language Settings in your Control Panel!
Example: You want to Install & to use your CLiP with Greek Language! :)
Then use Greek Language in your Regional & Language Settings in your
Control Panel in: Regional Options (2x options) & in Advanced (1x option).



After installation finish your PC will Reboot automaticaly!
IF when you log-on on your Windows the Setup NO start again automatic
for to finish 1x last step, browse your DVD/Image and run again the Setup.exe!
In some seconds you will notice 1x Message about Successful Instalaltion.


Now you can use the "NEW Renault CAN-CLiP Registration Patch V3.0" for to Register your CLiP! :)



Before your 1st REAL Operation with the Program make these steps:

You NEED to have 1 Renault Car (and ALWAYS Renault CLiP Running/Working FULL)
when you have Renault Car!
  1. Connect your CLiP Sonde or your VI Probe Interface 1st in your Car (OBD Slot)
  2. Turn Ignition ON (NOT Engine to running...)
  3. Connect now your CLiP Sonde or your VI Probe Interface via USB cable with your PC
  4. Start to installing ALL the Drivers (that they will appearing) and
you can find those in: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\
  1. You MUST Install 4x Drivers (4x TIMES the same thing!) about CLiP Sonde,
and 2x about VI Probe.

When you finish with the drivers, you can RUN now finally your NEW CAN-CLiP Software...

LAST & IMPORTANT TIP: Manage ALWAYS to have from the Car GOOD Power!
Try as you can to using External Power Supply to the Car!
Ranault CLiP Sonde (especially the Clones!) they are VERY SENSITIVE!

Software BMW INPA Windows 10 for K+DCAN Cable

Here is an easy way to install BMW Standard Tools to work with K+DCAN USB cables, developed by dallas.dainers and proved to be done in less than 15 min depending on the processing power of your machine.
The only requirement for this install:
Windows XP through Windows 10, 32 or 64 bit version
a working K+DCAN cable

NOTE: For everyone who's having issues setting the default folders, it is because some of the downloads excludes "empty" folders. Therefore, make sure your folder structure on the C drive are as follows (if you're missing a particular folder, create an empty one):

OBDSTAR X300M change 2008 Volvo S80 mileage easily

This post is going to demonstrate how to change 2008 Volvo S80 mileage using OBDSTAR X300M odometer correction tool. It is easy! Steps are as follows:
Turn car ignition on and we can see the original kilometer is 70106.

Connect OBDSTAR X300M with car. Choose “Vehicles”→ “Other models” → “Other models V30.51”.

Choose “Volvo” → “S80” → “07-”

Select “Mileage adjustment” function

It will ask to turn ignition on, press the Enter button to confirm.
Then it will ask to turn ignition off, so turn it off and press the Enter button.
Now it is reading the mileage, this process may cost a while.
After that we enter a number to name the mileage data file.

Next OBDSTAR X300M will read out the original odometer as 70104. (It’s OK for the real value 70106)

So we press the Enter button to continue, input a new odometer value as 93520 and confirm that.

Now it is adjusting the mileage after that operation success.

Free Software Download GM Tech 2 PCMCIA bin file multi-language

As we konw There are many free software in car diag tool website

 There is software that can reprogram the 32MB PCMCIA card within the GM Tech2 diagnostic scanner via serial cable with bin files. Here gathering some download resources of the Tech II PCMCIA bin file with multi-language and versions.
How to load software on Tech2 scan tool 32GB card?
Insert tech2 card into pcmcia port on laptop and use mce to write the required bin to card, once done remove card and place in tech 2 and power on.

Network connection when update bmw e87 maps using enet cable.

It’s a typical question and answer to setup IP address and network connection when update bmw e87 maps using enet cable.
Model: BMW E87
Purpose: to update 2010s maps
Devices i have: obd connector; enet cable bmw;
Puzzles:
have tried several different IPs, the closest i could get to accessing the cars computer was an error message, that password or username was incorrect.
In windows, under network and adapter settings it says that i don't have network connectivity. How to the LAN network, in some specific way? The problem seems the network settings, since even itoolradar doesn't show any IPs.
Ps. i have tried to access the fsc through browser, filezilla and the SWID software, additionally tried it under linux, but no luck.
 
Suggestions from an experienced user in a bmw forum:
As you know you can't acquire 1b file through DCAN cable, so forget about EDIBAS, the only option beside ICOM A2 is ENET cable i.e. ethernet adapter.
There are 3 different IP addresses assigned to clients by CIC (that I know):
169.254.199.98 (mask 255.255.255.0, gateway and ftp server address 169.254.199.99)
10.250.89.3 (mask 255.0.0.0, gateway and ftp server address 10.250.89.2)
160.48.199.98 (mask 255.255.255.128, gateway and ftp server address 160.48.199.99)
If none of those IP addresses work, then you need to set your PC to DHCP mode using TFTPD64. Then CIC will get IP address from your PC's DHCP.
You can check which address CIC got using Tool32 (when you are connected to it with DCAN, and ENET cable is on USB), load CICR.PRG and start the Job "status_get_ipconfig".
For example set your PC to a static IP address (e.g. 192.168.10.10/255.255.255.0) Launch TFTPD64 and bind it to your wired adapter. Under the options tab, set the start address to 192.168.10.20 with at least 2 for the pool size. Reboot your CIC by pressing the VOLUME button for about 30 seconds. The CIC will now be accessible at the address you specified, 192.168.10.20 in this case.
Hope this helps, if it doesn't then your CIC is most probably not wired to OBD and then your only chance is USB-Enet adapter with ASIX chipset.

Real review on AUTOPHIX OBDMATE OM123 OBDII EOBD CAN Car Code Reader

My car regularly throws a Check Engine code, Every time I had it cleared by a friend with AUTOPHIX OM123 code reader it was something trivial that didn't affect engine performance. I was getting fed up with borrowing my friend’s code reader once a month so I bought myself one. I'm glad to say it worked exactly as expected.
It came in a plastic shell pack with a manual. I plugged it into my car, turned the car's ignition key to on (engine off), and pressed a key on the scanner. From there, the menus were pretty easy to use. All the functions worked, the display was easy to read. This scan tool showed freeze frame data and live data (numbers), which some of the other scan tools in this price range and cheaper can't (they just show codes). It looks like the price went up to $35 recently, but I think it's still not bad and worth this price.

Here's a few things I noticed about this code reader:
- Very straightforward user interface
- I had no trouble turning it on, reading the codes, clearing the code without checking the user manual
- The screen is clear and easy to understand
- It presents trouble codes in a clean and straightforward way
- There is a short description of the trouble code instead of just a cryptic number
- All components feel like they are good quality
- Buttons feel decent to press
- Works immediately after being plugged in

Combining this with a quick internet search to check in depth what the codes mean has made my life easier. My car is old enough and it's not worth having such a trivial problem fixed for hundreds of dollars, so it's good to have a code reader so I don't need to be faced with the bright orange Check Engine Light every 1,000 KM of driving. If you're in a similar situation as me or you're looking at paying about $50 to a mechanic to read your engine codes, I would recommend getting this one. So far this reader has worked great and I've had no issues with it.

  2. Personally I clone a Ford 4D63 into a cn2 chip with mini cn900 and a friend told me he clone a Toyota G chip into a cn5, no internet or decoder box, will keep testing as times go.
